English below / 高砂の海や自然への想いが生まれた、故郷 宮城県石巻市での写真展「地球と出会う旅」が１２月２日より石巻市博物館にて開催されます。写真家になってからの、38年間の被写体の変化や自然への気持ちの変遷を、100点を超える作品と言葉で追体験していただくような展覧会となります。愛用のカメラ機材や秘蔵のポジフイルム、撮影風景の展示、スライドショーの投影など盛り沢山の内容です。
また、12月16日13:30~にはトークイベントも予定しています。

I’m excited to share with you that the upcoming exhibition “Chikyuu to Deau Tabi (A Journey of Encountering the Earth)” will be opening on December 2, 2023 in my hometown Ishinomaki. It is where my fascination for the ocean and nature first sparked. Displaying over a hundred photographs, the show will trace my 38 years as a photographer, following the changes of what I’ve photographed, as well as my attitude towards nature over the years.
The exhibition will also showcase my favorite camera equipments, positive films, behind the scenes, and videos.
On December 16th, there will be a talk event. I hope that many people will come visit Ishinomaki and enjoy the exhibition!
